III - GoldEarners.net Admin Meets WeeklyGold.com Admin IV - Some Interesting Forum Discussions V - Best Bang for Your Buck Advertising -------------------------------------------------- I - HYIP NEWS/NOTICES UPDATE * WeeklyGold.com's payout continues to be over 5%. This weeks payout was 5.15%. They also purchased some more L-Funds, which is continuing to secure their future. This program has been around since early February, and has been paying out almost non-stop. Mario, the admin of this program is known throughout the HYIP community for his honesty. This is a program that we will continue to support. * Octavian Holdings has announced that they will be putting their program on hold for 3 weeks, due to the fact that they are changing traders. This program has been around since mid March, and we fully expect them to continue payouts like promised. * Small Gold Investors and The Golden Book have been shut down by Yahoo. The admin claims that refunds will be made, but we will have to see about that. * It is reported that DexiGold is scamming investors. Supposedly they are only paying out investors for the 1st day, and then payments are haulted. We have seen programs do this in the past, and many admins make a killing doing this. We just recommend you stay away from them for the time being. * Connections4U, a program that lasted a very long time, apears to have run off with members' funds. John Barnes the admin of the program (probably a falsified name) has not contacted members, and has not made any payouts recently to members' evocash accounts. A lot of people lost very large sums of money in this scam. * CorporalInvestments is experiencing some major script problems, so there is a delay in some functioning. They claim to be switching to manual payouts if the problem is not resolved within a week. * Gold Eagle a program that was not around too long, appears to be a scam/ponzi. They offer a total of 240% in 3 days. If you were stupid enough to invest in a program with such outragious payouts, you probably deserve to have lost your money -- although we do feel bad for you :-) * GujiGold, a program that seems rather stable suprisingly closed up. It appears that their e-gold account was hacked for over $2000, and this was too much to overcome for a program that did not have a very long time to generate backup funds. Hackers in this arena are pure theives that are not any better then the theives that rob banks. These hackers believe that they aren't harming anyone, but infact they are stealing from hundreds of people. * Lately there have been an emergence of quite a few obvious ponzi schemes. There have been dozens of programs opening up offering 5-300% daily. Christmas time usually causes this situation to arise. A lot of people need to generage cash quickly, so they turn to opening a Ponzi Scheme. Many individuals also believe that since some others need to make a quick buck, they would be more prone to investing in these types of programs. It is just our advice to stay away from any program offer over 4% daily. * It appears that StipGold has turned out to be a Scam/Ponzi. The admin is not making any attempt to communicate with members, and payouts have been haulted. * Profit Partner, a program that has been around for quite some time, appears to have vanished. There has been no update from the admin, and payments are not being made. -------------------------------------------------- II - ARE HYIPS RATIONAL? This is a good question from both the investors point of view and the Program administrators point of view. Is it worth it to invest in an HYIP? And, Is it worth it to run an actual HYIP? These are two very good questions that we will try to answer: The first question: Is it worth it to invest in an HYIP? This all depends on your expectations. If you expect to make thousands of dollars from an initial $10 investment, then you are in the wrong place. Even though many programs claim to be able to make you huge sums of money in short periods of time, they usually can not. If the program seems too good to be true, it usually is. If you want to earn more then 2% per day, then you are dreaming. Even though it is possible to earn upwards of 5% per day with a good trader, there are probably only a few dozen traders in the world that can consistantly earn anything more then 2-3% per day. The last thing these few trading experts would be doing is running their own HYIP. On the other hand, if you are in the HYIP arena to earn a small and steady .25-1% per day income then you may be in the right place. In order to make your experience with HYIPs worth it, you must do the proper research before investing. Don't just go out and throw around your money. We recommend low paying Private programs, many of which can be found at: http://www.Privatehyips.com So the answer to question #1 is that HYIP investing can definitely be worth your time and money if you have realistic expectations. The Second question: Is it worth it to run an actual HYIP? First of all you must understand that when we say "actual HYIP" we dont mean ponzi schemes and scams. "Actual" means that the program admin is actually engaging in some sort of Trading (Forex, commodities, stocks, bonds, funds, real estate, etc). Just to let you know, only about 3-5% of HYIPs actually do this. Now, to the question of is it worth it to run one of these programs. In our opinion it usually is not worth it. Why do we say this? Well, if the admin can generate returns that attract other investors, why would they be using their talents to open an HYIP? I know that if I had the trading skills needed to generate a return of 1-5% per day, I would be trading for a major financial firm earning a 6 digit income legitimately, or I would be trading with my own funds or families funds. Why waste your talent making money for other people? Usually the people that run these programs are amateurs who are testing out their trading skills without the risk of losing their own money. Sure there are actual traders out their offering their services in an HYIP format, however they are rare to come by. To sum things up, the answer to this question is that it really is not worth it to run an "actual" HYIP unless the admin is unsure of his or her trading abilities. -------------------------------------------------- III - GOLDEARNERS.NET ADMIN MEETS WEEKLYGOLD.COM ADMIN On the 29th October, Peter from GoldEarners.net and Mario from WeeklyGold met up in central London to discuss the HYIP arena. Mario started off by showing various forms of ID, including his EU passport. He then proceeded to explain what he was doing in London and the various 'real world' investments that he is involved with. Of particular interest to myself, and I'm sure to many WeeklyGold members was what exactly are these 'L' funds that have been mentioned over the past few weeks? Starting off with the basics, the 'L' just means Luxemburg, as this is where the funds are based (if my memory serves me correct, this is for tax purposes). Mario produced several official documents that acted as a receipt for purchase of these L-funds. I can confirm that the documents shown to me verified that some $3000 had been invested into the L-funds. Mario stated that by 6 months time, he wanted the value of the L-Funds to be approximately 30% of the total amount invested into WeeklyGold. Thus each members' deposit could be guaranteed upto 30%. Ultimately he wishes for the L-Funds to guarantee 100% of the members funds. One of the L-Funds that is performing exceptionally well at the moment is the Emerging Country Bond. This invests into various emerging countries such as Russia, China, Brazil and Turkey. From WeeklyGold, the conversation moved on to other HYIP's, in particular the Nova-Lights family. Mario has very good contact with all three admins. I certainly learned a few new things about the way they are run. Information was also exchanged on various other good performing HYIP's. Naturally the conversation went on from great HYIP's to the worst HYIPs (not just the site). We talked about the various scam rings that are around, that help out other scam programs, either through ratings, posting positive or advertising. Mario has a lot of credible information on several people that run such dubious programs. For example, Mario was amongst the first people to let it be known that the admins of e-Share.org were kids who had run many ponzi sites before. It was for that reason also, e-Share was never listed on GoldEarners.net. From HYIP we talked about many other things, we had a few games of American pool (where I beat Mario ). The meeting was very useful to myself and also quite an eye-opener to the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes of WeeklyGold. It was also interesting to hear some of the credible inside information that he has on various people and programs...it makes you watch you back, LOL. So to sum up, I have to say that Mario is 100% serious about online HYIP's, and has 110% dedication to the success of WeeklyGold. --------------------------------------------------- IV - SOME INTERESTING FORUM DISCUSSIONS * My E-gold account was Hacked! Well, we have 3 favorites, and reasons why we think they are probably the best place to advertise your site at: #1 - http://www.Gold-hosting.com - probably one of the most trusted and reliable sites out there. They use various inside information, including information that we provide, to rate listed HYIPs on a 10 star scale. They are very accurate. Having your site listed at Gold-hosting.com with a high rating gives it a credibility that is otherwise hard to obtain. #2 - http://www.GoldRater.com - This new HYIP / Gold Game rating site is run by us. It allows members to advertise their programs for free, or at a premium level which charges $1/day. Also includes a banner rotation and static banners which are very effective. #3 - http://www.Talkgold.com - (Over 105,000 hits per day) By far the most active HYIP forum on the net. With about 3X's the amount of hits as other HYIP forums, Talkgold only charges about half the price of their competition for advertising. #4 - http://www.Gamesofgold.com - (Over 25,000 hits per day) In the last month the traffic at Gamesofgold.com has dramatically increased. You can not beat their prices for their premium listings which will get your HYIP off the ground in no time.
